dim headlights

Another question for you guys....... a while back, I had to put those high heat harnesses for my xenon headlamps. Well, after they were installed, my headlights were never as bright. Now my 'brights' are where my 'lows' used to be. I don't understand this. Also, my 'brights' indicator light on my dash is always lit up now; dimmer when my low beams are on, and then bright when my highbeams are on. Before I had the harnesses installed, this light only came on when my highbeams were on. Is my electrical system screwed. I have since replaced my xenon with OEM lights, as the xenon kept blowing out after 6 months or so. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated! Thanks.....

Sounds more like a harness issue to me. Did you buy an upgraded wiring harness?
