my good friend has a 95 auto max with the standard bolt-ons(y-pipe, b-pipe, hks axle back, place cai, udp) and he has a nitrous kit waiting to be installed, but wants to beef up the tranny a little before running the giggle. my question to you guys is what all can be done, who can do it, and how much does it cost? i have heard about the vb mod, that is on his list, as is a higher stall torque convertor. anything else? any advice on the torque convertor? thanks in advance

torque would be a plus, but hopefully he plans on getting a new tranny/rebuild soon thereafter

get the vb mod...if your close to NY, get it from Jeff on LI, or have a 2-3 week turn around time to ship it there..

what do they get for the vb mod? my friend lives in sentral jersey, so he is pretty close

 

do a search on valve body or valvebody...it basically replaces your current VB, and it shifts faster with less shift lag, and also essentially helps your tranny last longer..
