my car is a 95 5spd with 87,xxx miles and lately my idle was been acting very weird. my idle is at 500-600 and constantly varies..sometimes up to 900. also, after driving in gear for a bit and I go back to neutral while rolling, the revs drop to 300rpm and sometimes even 200. anyone have any ideas why this can be happening? it feels like my car is gonna stalled but it doesnt...it shoots back up to about 500ish after it hits 200-300rpm.

well during the past 2 days, my car has now been stalling on me.
i'd be driving around in and gear and put it into neutral and i see that my revs drop and then it stalls on its own. any technical reasons for this?

you'd better be like the me clean man to your intake. check if the area inside your Mass Airflow sensor is dirty, check your air filter, all the usual intake stuff. Also check for vacuum leaks, and so on. Just start opening stuff up, if it looks dirty, it shouldn't be.
