automagic "show" setup v.s. stick "race" setup!
if i have a stick i would totally go for all performance setup, but since i have a automagic i thought it'll suck for drag race and street race... i donno guys, but after all... having a nice show car isn't tat bad after all =) wat do u guys think?
If you look in the timeslip forum you will notice that 5 out of the top 10 fastest cars are autos.
The auto's also have the fastest 60'. What does that tell you.
I am buying a new car for the track in the next couple of weeks, guess what I am getting, yes an auto even though I could get a 5 speed just as cheap or cheaper.
Its mostly preference unless you are just going to run N/A, then the manual is faster.

like Jime said...autos have half of the top times. I think their better for consistency. Its not like a stick when you have to get the perfect launch, hit the gears perfectly, yadda yadda, Auto is just drive and go. Its also easier to spray, they have longer gears.

thems fightin werds there pardner...just kidding...
play the cards right and your auto will lay it out nicely....still plenty of things available to do and be a comfortable, manageable daily driver...
I consider myself limited to what I can do and not make my car a trailer queen...
