Does everyones oil pressure light flicker for a split second after starting while oil pressure builds? Just changed mine out and it seems more noticable than with the old switch. But i am also paranoid.

 

yea.. mine does the same sh|t.. i don't know.. i was kinda worried when i first got mine but since then i've driven it 14k miles and nothing's gone wrong yet.. then again i only got 60k miles on it..
maybe someone else can shine some light on the situation cuz i'd really like to know..

Are you using the OEM oil filter (or another oil filter with an anti-drainback valve)?

 

i am using a purolator, pureone i think. yes it has antidrainback.
