Tailights and black goo.
I've had red/clears siiting around for about a month but I don't want to put them in because I think that the black goo that came with them wouldn't adhere very well during this cold weather. So my question is; Do I really need to use that black goo?

I don't think that you need it because the original goo stretches so much, and will probably reform to your new lights. But if you have it laying around, you might as well use it.

Has anyone not replaced the goo and had water leak in or any other problems?

when I got my red/clears, it came with new goo rolled up. I didnt need to put anymore on, cuz the original stuff was still good...most of it stuck to the car. I dont have any leaks to report...
