I haven't seen many other max's with leather covered shifters or steering wheels, aside from mine. Was this standard on SE's or just an option?

 

i have both...97 se 5spd...all options but auto climate

 

I have both. Cloth seats and manual climate.

So why is the handbrake boot crappy vynil? :-/

 

SE automatic, steering wheel only
SE 5speed, both steering wheel & shifter

Isn't that so true? I love everything about my car, but man that E-brake boot seems so so cheap.

Oh well, I like everything else.

 

i have a 96 SE and i have both (leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter[auto]) i also have cloth seats and manual climate control.

 

I have a 95 se with only a leather shifter and thats because i bought a momo

 

i have a 97 se 5spd with leather both. I also have the auto climate control, and leather seats. I love my car. My older bro has a 99 se 5spd with all 3 leather. He doesn't have the auto climate control. He envies me!!!

 

My 95 SE e-brake boot is leather. At least I think it is. So is the steering wheel and shift ****. Back when it was an automatic it had a leather covered auto shifter. I still have it if anybody wants to buy it (black).

 

I have a 96 GLE and I have leather shifter and leather steering wheel.

Replacing the broken shifter with a LEVOC hybrid

 

My 99 has leather on both.
