If you really want to see where your going pick up a set of Sylvania Xtravisions.
For a bit whiter light try the Sylvania Cool Blues.
Both of these bulbs have a nice wide beam pattern on the road. I have yet to come across any bulb that comes close to these. The Xtravisions are the best stock replacement bulb I've ever had. They really throw a lot of light down on the road.
Nothing can come close to HID's and the blue Xenon bulbs that try to simulate it are a wast of your hard earned money.

i think we should just make a separate bulb faq: terms, brands, wattages, revies, etc.... Put that up top and let everyone read it.
And i'm still sticking with the silverstars. Two nights ago, i was driving on I-80, during a light rain, and iwas able to see a deer roughly a 1/8-1/4mile away. These things work fine.
