HEED LIGHT REPLACEMENT blub HElp

I need to know if anybody ever used XENON HID 9004..I see a pair for sale...

Are they better than stock?
How long do they last?
They any good in rain,etc?

Any help would be appriecated...

ok so the ebay xenon ideas are gone....but no one seems to be satified with replacement bulbs...so i think i leave it stock or get the the better wire harness...what do guys think??...better wire harness = better light?

Only if you get higher wattage bulbs. That doesn't mean that you are getting better Lumen output though.

If you really want to see where your going pick up a set of Sylvania Xtravisions.

For a bit whiter light try the Sylvania Cool Blues.

Both of these bulbs have a nice wide beam pattern on the road. I have yet to come across any bulb that comes close to these. The Xtravisions are the best stock replacement bulb I've ever had. They really throw a lot of light down on the road.

Nothing can come close to HID's and the blue Xenon bulbs that try to simulate it are a wast of your hard earned money.

i think we should just make a separate bulb faq: terms, brands, wattages, revies, etc.... Put that up top and let everyone read it.

And i'm still sticking with the silverstars. Two nights ago, i was driving on I-80, during a light rain, and iwas able to see a deer roughly a 1/8-1/4mile away. These things work fine.
