octane booster- will it hurt???

Has anyone had any problems using octane booster in their Max?
Is there any documentation stating NOT to use it??

If you do use it, what brand so you use??
Thanks.

Just use high octane gasoline. I've used octane additives and noticed no gain in performance.

You dont need it. Your Max requires at least 91 octane. That's all.

I have a pinging problem, and want to toss some octane boost in my tank to see if the problem is octane related. But if somewhere Nissan says not to use it, then I won't.

Also, some rural areas where I travel to do not have premium at the pump.

In this case get the octane booster to boost it up to the 90+ mark. I used to get pinging but that's when I was useing 89 octane gasoline.

true.

octance booster will not hurt though, while tuning my car (running race fuel daily haha) I had to run octance booster at one point when i filled up off of the pump with CRAPPY gas.. octane booster will not hurt the car at all, but dont expect performance from it

Thanks for info. I've used octane boost in my others rigs, no problem. Just wanted to check on a Nissan with all the computer ands smog crap. Arco sells crappy gas around here: It even makes my Chevy S-10 ping. Chevron does not.
I used to use octane booster in my race bike when I could not get race fuel. I would drain the old gas if it sat a few weeks, and use it in my 3.5 hp lawn mower. That little mower would pratically hover across the lawn.
