For those who are lowered with a bodykit

My car is already going to be lowered but I was also looking into getting a bodykit. I was just wondering how much clearence you have from the bottom of the kit to the ground? I live in Duluth, MN, which is basically a big hill, with thousands of smaller hills on it, and I might have some issues with to low af a car. thanks for your input.

i cannot speak for any bodykit but the stillen, and i know that the stillen lowers your car about an inch, on top of whatever combo of springs/struts you have. Stock ride height/ground clearance for the maxima...i don't know what year you have, but i have a 97 se and it rides 6.1 inches off the ground...so, if you have the stillen kit and say sprint springs, you are lookin at 3 inches clearance!!!!!!! you are likely to bottom out quite often, and this clearance is based on an unloaded car, so its gonna be worse if you have a full car.. Hope i was of help!

Your main concern will be the front lip. If you can clear the front lip you won't have any problems with the sides or rear. You just have to be careful of your entry angle when approaching speed bumps and such.

it all depends on your springs. try to stay with a 1.5" to 1.7" drop.

good luck.
