Rewire fogs on with brights?

Is there any way to rewire the fogs to go on with the brights instead of turning off? I dont want them on when the lights arent on, but just with regular lights, and brights....i searched for a while but couldnt find anything....anyone?

not sure which state you are in, but in connecticut I know that it is illegal to have fog lights on with brights. Not sure why, but it is. stupid law. That is why they do not come rigged up like that from the factory.

maximadriver doesen't have it, VQpower.com does, but they're down. From now on, search. It'll save you from that burning sensation of being flamed.

here's the answer

Generally speaking, if you are driving in fog, the WORST thing you can do is turn on your brights. The intense light reflected off of the fog will severly limit your ability to see ahead. I would suspect the "switch off" on the fogs is to "remind" you to leave the headlights on "normal" not "bright."

And anyone who has driven the max long enough realizes that the "fogs" are more like driving lights than anything.

For true fogs, you need amber bulbs to cut through the fog, not white light.
