hey, My mom has a 96 Maxima GLE. In the center console is a sliding drawer-like compartment under the radio to hold odd things. I was wondering, is the GLE the only model with this compartment? If no, what do the other body trim models have? Does it only come in wood finish? What model Max has the flip-down cover rather than the sliding drawer?

I'm sure I could get it to fit in my sentra ith a little work. I'm pretty much looking for a solution to my little problem of everything flying out of the big opening durring acceleration.

Don't know but my 97SE (non-wood trim) has one.

 

to answer your question, mine has the console on it. I have a 97 se. The only difference is the gle has a slider, and se gxe(maybe) have a flip one. i like the flip better though. It fits more stuff without jamming!

 

can anyone post a pic of what it looks like. I've only seen the GLE one.
