what parts should i take off my freinds maxima

my freind in forte wayne IN broke his axle and some other things and basically totalled his max,,, he is offering me any parts i want before he sends it to a junkyard,, i have a stock 95 se ,,,, he has a loaded 95 se... the engine has 215 thousand miles on it and right now iam planing on only taking the tires and bose speakers,,, if anyone else in the area wanted parts iam confident that he would sell them to you really cheap

thanks for the responses

Take the starter and alternator, chances are they will go out. I would do a search on common problems with the max and stock up on those.

Take the car. Take anything that isn't broken or scratched etc and have him sell it here. ie) wheels, spoiler, lights, interior, guages, etc etc.

If I was you, I'd offer to pay whatever the scrap yard would offer him and take the whole thing. That way, you have your own personal junkyard to rip parts from anytime you want. I understand, storage can be a problem, but just cover it with a tarp with bricks/stones all around the tarp, and chemicals noxious to animals all around the car, so it doesn't get infested.

I'd love to have an oppurtunity like you. I'd probably just leave the car in my backyard or something.
