Headlights out, Help Please

I just realized that both of my headlights are out. Both bulbs are good. The fog lights & cornering lights work. The high beam works. I can hear the relay clicking. The 15 amp fuses, for the left & right headlights, located in the engine compartment near the battery are good. All other lights are working. HELP ME! Am I missing something? I even set off the stock alarm & the headlights flash like they are supposed to.

Maybe something wrong with the **** to turn the headlights on. I had to replace mine in my Sentra. Exact same problem as you have. Go to a junk yard, all 4th gen stalks are the same, with the exception of fogs. Other Nissan ones may work too. The 99 Sentra and 97 Maxima are the same.

My 2¢

I don't think that is the problem. I can hear the relay clicking when I go from cornering lights position to the headlight position.

Did you pull the sockets off the bulb and see if one of the plug in holes is burnt out?

What type bulbs are you using?

This is bull@#*! Both bulbs are burned out. I don't get it. I thought that if the low beam is out, then the high bean indicator, located in the instrument cluster, is supposed to stay on to let you know that th elow beam is out. I just tried an old stock bulb and it works. I also checked the voltage to the sockets and it is also fine. I guess both bulbs went out at the same time. F%$k this, I don't want to risk frying up my stock harness. I am going back to stock bulbs.
