Found a cheap axle replacement

Not sure if Bennett Auto Supply is nationwide, but I went to them to get a new driverside axle rebuilt for my Max. Cause it was a 5 speed, they didn't have one in stock, but they rebuilt it in under 3 hours for $52! Hell just buying two boots would have costed me over $30. The axle got new boots (my outer went bad), new bearings as need (mine need the outer) and painted up real nice in black (except for the splines). I couldn't believe the price and the turn around time. When I get my clutch done soon, I'll do the passenger side before it leaks (what a mess to clean).

Just thought I'd let you all know.

there is a bennett auto supply less than 2 min from my house and i was wondering how your cv axles are holdin up. i need to replace both of mine and wasnt sure if rebuilding old ones was a good thing. i know raxles.com sell used axle shafts but they contain new joints. at bennett did they put in brand spankin new joints or old ones that are just in good condition. there is a big difference for me as old joints in good condition wont last as long as new joints. but im just curious. please anyone who has also done business at bennett auto supply feel free to answer because for 52 an axle ill get both mine done asap
TIA
