OBX bumper alignment fixed!

i took arrafio's advice and fixed the problem!

here is a before and after pic, and also a pic of my b-pipe so u guys see what i mean about the fitment issues:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

think i need to put it to the left a little more....

^^^i hear greddy hangs as bad due to us both being 2.5 inches but it was much worst. I went to meineke to get it installed and they melted a part fo it so they could twist the metal a little...bah, my car is too low for anyone to see this anyway

I told you it was easy. You went and paid to have it done though? I told you the metal hose clamps did the job.

Looks better though

lol, oh hell no i aint pay no one to adjust it. I got the metal clamps from home depot and kept tighting each side till it was about right. it was mad easy, and although car is pretty low, i can still see a lot under my car by laying down...i just hate getting my clothes dirty

Two great minds think alike.

Thats the same thing I did to my Apexi WS when I bought it last year. It was swinging from left to right and it looked a little crookked from the back, so I bought the hose clamp at Auto Zone and did the same thing you did.

Smart idea Tony

The title should be muffler alignment. I'm sure you didn't move your bumper to align it with your muffler type.

Thanks mecca........I fixed mine, but what about the B pipe part that hangs real low. I think I will try the same trick with it. Mine rattles the heat shield.

I went to Midas and they fixed my hanging b-pipe by heating it up and twisting it. Now my muffler is crooked (one side higher that the other) and it still sit to the left. I even used the hose clamps and it only held it up higher but didn't fix the aligment issue. Any one else have any suggestions?

whatever side the muffler is leaning to, loosen the clamp more on that side and tighten it more on the other.

they heated my b-pipe up so it can fit better but as u can see from pic on first page, thats the best it could go...but a lot of people wit greddy say they went through same drama so i dont care about it...
