Y does my check engine light come on when it rains??
Very time it rains my check engine light comes on and after a while when it stops raining it goes away. I have a cattman cold air intake, any info????
Strangely, I had the same thing happen with one of my front O2 sensors. Would light up the CEL after I leave my car out when it rained. Never waited long enough to see if it would go away on it's own. I pulled and reseated the harness a few times and it has not been back again... Was going on for a couple of months though. I am still enjoying good fuel economy so I don't think it's bad.
Definitely find out what code is triggering though.

Re: no problem
O2 sensor connectors are waterproof, but sometimes they might not be seated properly or the seals might have worn out.
It's also possible that the the insulation on the wiring is compromised and water is shorting a few wires, triggering the code.
