How do you remove the cover under the hood?
I'm trying to paint the cover under the hood...I don't know what you call it...like a heat shield I guess. But I can't seem to get those darn pins out. Is there a trick to doing it?
Thanks - Chad

Just get a large flat head screw drive and pry them out. You wont break them but you will loose them when they fly somewhere in the engine.
Make sure you have lots of spray paint cause that sucker really sucks the paint up. Also a good idea to do a clear coat over that for protection.
Here is my setup
