1. Unscrew the screws on top of the corner lights on both sides.
2. Pop-out the corner lights by prying them out to "release" the knuckle that secures them in.
3. Unscrew the two screws that hold the headlight in where the corner lights were.
4. Unscrew the two screws on the back of the headlamp. You will need to use an extension to reach them. The passenger's side is a PITA.
5. Install in reverse order.
6. Be sure to re-aim your new headlights.....

if you have flexible hands...
you can save all that work and just stick your hands in there, twist off the black rubber ring and pull out the bulbs.

im assuming you mean headlight bulbs....

i change the bulbs without taking any parts off. it does take a while and ur hands will get all scraped up.

The adjustment bolt closer to the parking/corner lights (outboard of the vehicle) is for the up/down aiming of the headlamp. The one further inboard is to control the right/left aiming of the lamp. You'll need a 10mm wrench to perform the aiming task.

To do the height adjustment .... for the rest of this post, go here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=72447
