hi, i have a 95 maxima

a weird problem sprung up on me today, when turning the stalk to the full on position the headlights dont work but the parking lights do , same in parking lights position

also, the highbeams work in every position

what could have suddenly caused this? more importantly, is there a fix? thank you!

 

I put cheap aftermarket headlights in my fiance's car and her high beams didn't work. Turns out the parts store gave me the wrong bulbs and they were only for a car with seperate bulbs for high and low beams.

 

I havent changed the bulbs or anything, this just randomly started happening today

i tried changing the headlight relay.. swapped it with the rear defog one since they are the same, no dice, same problem

fuses are fine, any ideas? dont tell me this is a dealer issue...

 

It could be your headlight switch. The contacts seems to be stuck if the highbeams always on...did you try pulling and pushing on the headlight highbeam switch? just like when you flicker your highbeams when you passing someone, any change.....
