it's for my 95 maxima GLE, i just want the headunit because of constant "CD err". Also sometimes the lights dim or completely turn off and then come back on, is this normal?

i had one from a 97 maxima SE which worked great, looks much better than the one the 95-96 came with. The only way you can get anything Bose for a car is pre-installed. They don't allow you to buy the parts because they don't want their name on some thug-rig, or anything with less then perfectly optimized and matched sound for that matter. Originally posted by Allen

$450 for a Bose Head Unit that will replace the one you have without a core charge.
If you send in your old one, its $350.
