i had one from a 97 maxima SE which worked great, looks much better than the one the 95-96 came with. I sold it to SweetSound on the org cause he was gonna do something for a friend but i think he didnt get around to doing it...he should have a good one if u want, i had no problems what so ever with that one...

The only way you can get anything Bose for a car is pre-installed. They don't allow you to buy the parts because they don't want their name on some thug-rig, or anything with less then perfectly optimized and matched sound for that matter.

I like that idea

Ok, I'll post it again since you missed it...

www.carstereohelp.com

You can get OEM Bose Headunits, repairs, speakers, amplifiers at that site. They specialize in Bose, but provide OEM stereo parts for almost every car.

$450 for a Bose Head Unit that will replace the one you have without a core charge.

If you send in your old one, its $350.

Yeah, they even have instructions on how to take the Head Unit out. That's helpful to anyone who needs to get behind the dash.
