Potential Engine Problem - Please Help, Pics Included !

1997 Nissan Maxima SE ( 5 Speed Manual )

Hey, I need some opinions and help from some more mechanically minded members at maxima.org I was doing some dusting this morning and spotted some greasy spots ... I have provided some pictures below. Just copy and paste this link into your browser.

I did not know if this is typical for a car my age with some mileage or could this be a potential problem arising. The car drives fine to me. Could someone please explain.

thanks
grand

Relax, get some Simple Green and clean it. There's nothing wrong with your car, it's just a build up of some dirt and grime. Maybe give the nuts that hold the intake runners a tweak just to make sure there nice and snug.

P.S. Looks like you keep a very clean engine compartment!
