octane at the track?

octane at the track?

do you use 93 oct pump gas at a track? or get the higher octane at the track?

That is fine unless your forcing induction. If you go this route then you would need the higher octane to prevent detonation.

If you JUST add a higher octane, it won't do anything.

Or if you're running the JWT ECU. I plan on mixing some 100 octane with my 92 (most I can get at the station) to get a combined octane of around 95 or so. After seeing how the 350Z gained ~10rwhp by simply running 95 vs 91, it made think that the advanced timing of the JWT would be very happy with the slightly higher octane.

i.c. my goal is to hit the sub 15 second mark with only an intake...i have seen a 14.6 4th gen timeslip with intake only, so i think i can do it...
