Assistance request....Transmission/clutch problems.... weird noise and feel...

When switching gears. After the clutch is let out and the gear is engaged... when I give it gas I can hear a weird clunking, dull ticking noise.. it goes on for a few seconds and lets off..

this noise is getting more frequent by the day..

any idea on what this is? My clutch grabs fine, and this only happens AFTER I've let the clutch out..

other problems:

1. shifter is VERY hard to move.. i've tried other 4th gens and they are much easier..

2. clutch is extremely stiff.. getting very hard to depress.. there is also some sort of squeak midway through it's movement to the floor... it doesn't go in smoothly but as if it hits something on the way down, with a squeak..

Any help on any of these problems would be greatly appreciated. This stuff is starting to drive me nuts. Especially the 1st thing mentioned. That noise has me worried

thanks!

Im not sure about the noise but my car was making noise when my throw out bearing went. Does your clutch slip at all, is the a grinding noise when you start the car in the mornin.

I second that...check the throwout bearing. And also check the MT transmission fluid.

I was told it might be the Throw Out bearing previously.

But the 1st thing I spoke about, the dull ticking noise.. kind of sounds like a bad CV joint.. but it's not it.. this has been scaring me most.
When it happens, I am not touching the clutch, car is already in gear and moving. It just happens after I let the clutch out fully and it grabs gear.. maybe for the 1st 3-10 seconds after I let it out..

A throw out bearing shouln't have any part in this.. or am i wrong?

Another thing is when I let the clutch out, from a stop.. car doesn't pull away slowly.. but kind of stumbles. I can feel some grinding with my left foot and even my steering wheel shakes hard when this happens

what the hell is going on?
