Problem with factory speakers......

My speakers seem to be going in and out in sound. I was playing my new Freeway CD pretty loud yesterday, would that cause it to cut off and on like that? Are bose units set up like after market systems with amps were they shut down to avoid any damage to be done to the amp itself (overheating)?

Don't know, but the amps are known to die.

Go to www.carstereohelp.com for replacements if you want them.

thats why I didnt want the whole Bose setup. I didnt like the idea of built in stock amps. I replaced all my insides with Cerwin Vegas, they sound great...
