obx catback- diameter debate

ok i have yet to receive my catback from that ssautochrome place, but its not their fault. its the postal service. why is it that whenever i place a large money order in an envelope, three weeks go by and i get worried? i was about to certify it when i sent it out but i started trusting the usps again.

anyway, if given the chance to cancel the MO i might do it, if there's a chance i will not receive a catback with 2.5" piping.

so whats the final outcome?
-it is 2.25" not 2.5"?
-there are both. apparently OBX made batches with a 2.25" diameter?

if im running a risk of getting a 2.25" (im looking to get blown some day, (prefer 2.5") i would like to cancel my MO. USPS wont refund me until 60 days but i can stop payment at least.
thanks

i have no idea, havent installed it yet. does the extra .25 inches really make that much of a difference?

Not for a NA car. And if you actually get a SC or Trubo, you would want 3 inches anway. So... ?

"If" I were to go forced it would be a trubo, and the kit includes a 3 in pipe all the way back so no reason for me to worry. However, I still need to take my pipe off again and mesure it to see? lol

Oh, and I would hope if you spend the money on a Supercharger you would go ahead and get the 3 in pipe

mine is 2.5"

i think if u are running low boost (5-7 psi) u dont really need 3" but if u are going for a constant 10+...3" is ideal....
