carbon fiber hood

carbon fiber hood

ok this may be a sumb ? to some of you but to there is not a dumb ? unless you already know the answer. i don't really care for the look of carbon fiber so can carbon fiber hood be painted?

Yup, talk to Stillnmax (Neelio). He's the only person I know who's painted his c/f hood.

i are not crazy. Well if you want to paint your CF hood congratulations .... you will no longer have to worry about the sun causing the resin in the CF to haze over....

Almost any bodyshop can paint it for you.... talk to them about it ... they should mention adding FLEX to the paint so it doesnt crack.... if they dont you might want to inquire about it, so that if your hood decides to flex, kinda like when you punch it... the paint wont crack

I wouldn't paint a CF hood, I'd rather vinyl it, much cheaper and lasts longer.

I don't know about the rest of the guys, but this took me a while to understand

thank you all for the info. i will probably wont get one until later i plan on doing a pretty big change all at once and i will be getting a custom paint job. i am thinking a BlackPearl or chamelon paint
