Has anyone bought parts or anything off e-bay
Not if it's done right.
Sellers have feedback, see how well their past transactions have been.
Confirm shipping costs, make sure it includes insurance.
Pay with a credit card whenever possible, so you can dispute the charges if something goes wrong.
There are so many things you can do to protect yourself if a deal goes sour. Credit card, insurance and feedback are the three best things IMO.

i have bought tons of things off ebay, but none of them were really worth much money. So far i havent had any major problems, but for a bigger investment make sure you play it safe - if possible you can link us to the auction your looking at and we could check it out for you
i got my superwhite gauges for $20, clear corners for $25, FSTB for $25, aluminum dash trim $98, altezza tail for $41!!! and couple other misc. maxima parts for cheap price...
check the seller's feedback see if he's got enough positive comments for u to trust him and buy, u'll save $$ from ebay =)

I am an ebay fanatic...I think I'm to the point I require some counseling
Just as long as you play it safe, and use a transaction service like paypal, you will save yourself SO MUCH MONEY! I have purchased hundreds of things off of ebay, and have never had a problem. Always buy stuff that includes pictures of the actual product being sold (not a "stock" photo), and make sure the people selling are not brand new to ebay. There is always a risk, but frankly, with the money I've saved, its a risk I'm always willing to take.

eBay auctions fpr Service Manual CDs
Has anyone bought one of those Service Manual CDs listed on eBay?
How thorough are they? I'm just a weekend knuckle-masher, not gonna do anything major, but if I need to replace a starter, are these cd's a help??
Thanks
