I just got a pair of eibachs in the mail and learned that it isn't best to use stock struts on aftermarket springs. So now I was wondering what would be the best set up in your opinion with the eibach?. KYB vs. Tokico? KYB AGX vs. KYB GR2s?

KYB recommends using Eibachs

Tokico - Slightly softer/smoother ride then KYB's line.

KYB:
AGX - Firm adjustable up to out of control hard
GR2 - Firm non adjustable (Similar to AGX set at lowest settings)

KYB corporation recommends Eibach Springs with their line up.

well, i've been running stock struts w/ my eibach for a year or two now... i have 150k miles on the car now and haven't had any problems.

 

Really, I heard the opposite - that Tokico's have a killer stiff ride, and KYB GR-2 is rather soft, more like stock replacements.

 

They may not show any problems per say but I guarentee your car isn't riding correctly. Put new struts and rear shocks in it and you'll think you just baught a new car.
