i know this is possibly a stupid question, but how would i go about installing a 20th anniversary shift ****?

unlike the 2002-2003 maximas, my 95 maxima shift **** is unscrewable.

so how do i take it off? thanks a bunch

P.S.- i did search, and i couldnt find anything

 

Are you sure it doesn't unscrew? I have a '99 and it unscrewed from the shift lever. It was glued as well as being screwed on. I had to take pliers rapped in a towel to get my OEM **** off. You will hear a crack don't worry that was just the glue "letting go of the stock ****."
