installation of shift knob?

installation of shift ****?

i know this is possibly a stupid question, but how would i go about installing a 20th anniversary shift ****?

unlike the 2002-2003 maximas, my 95 maxima shift **** is unscrewable.

so how do i take it off? thanks a bunch

P.S.- i did search, and i couldnt find anything

yes it is, you are just not trying hard enough. grab at the ball and not the base on the **** and the glue should break.

Use a strap-wrench so that you don't tear up your **** and go nuts on it....seriously.

****, strap wrench....good idea. I used a pair of channel locks with a rag and ended up tearing up the old **** a little bit. It will come off...you just have to turn it hard enough and it will go "CLICK" and turn as the glue breaks.

tried and failed. the rubber strap was too stretchy

Has anyone had good experience with momo shift *****?

They appear to cost a pretty penny, are they worth it or are they overrated?
