there is a faint (but audible) high-pitched whirling noise whenever i turn my AC fan on. it could be the AC, the heater, just vent, it will make the sound. it almost sounds like a fan that is not oiled properly. any idea what it is and how easy this would be to remedy?

 

prolly a/c fan belt. easy to replace and all u gotta buy is the belt.

 

i forgot to mention that i am hearing the noise inside the car - inside the cabin. it's not coming from outside the car. it's pretty faint...but noticeable if the radio is not on...
