Mine dies sometimes too except i think i have a loose wire somewhere.... Anyway, I pull out and re-insert a fuse and it starts up again. Don't know the name of the fuse, but its the top fuse second from the right in the compartment to the lower left of the steering wheel.
To do this right, take out the radio, and check for voltage at the appropriate wires @ the harness. If theres no voltage, its a fuse or short somewhere, not the radio. In that case don't bother getting a new radio, have the voltage problem fixed. If you DO have voltage, scrap the bose deck + speakers and start over with nice aftermarket stuff.
