Maxima on 20's

Could a 96 nissan maxima fit some 20x8.5 rims without any extra modifications to the car. If changes are necessary, please let me know the average cost to make the modifications.

well all i know is that i saw a Max yesterday at the orlando meet and he said they were 20s (i wouldnt doubt it, they were HUGE) and he still had very noticeable wheelgap and it looks like it drove fine.

BTW, you dont want 20s, their gaudy and look ridiculous. The biggest that look proportionate on a Max are 19s..

20 x 8.5 should fit fine on your car. if you lower it, then you will most likely have to roll up the lip under your back fenders. though, if you are going to get 20's, i think it looks best if you drop it. you can roll the back fenders yourself or get a quality body shop to do it for a couple hundred bucks. click on the links in my sig...i have 20's with H&R's.
