CAI + Ypipe + Stock Bpipe and Muffler...any backpressure?

if i got a CAI and Ypipe on my car, will there be backpressure if the rest of the exhaust is stock? or will it flow thru fine? my friend said bcuz i have a coldair, i should get a catback
reason i dont wanna get a catback is cuz of the loudness, but eventually i prolly will get one if i get a good deal on it, but ill keep a silencer/resonator in there somewhere

now one more question...lets say i have JUST a ypipe and everything else stock(airbox, catback, etc)...what kinda gains can i expect?
does the Y pipe reach its full output hp with the addition of an intake?
what if it was instead that scenario with a CAI, and i added a Ypipe..will i see more gains with both together on each individual part? in other words, do they complement each other?
like lets with JUST the CAI, id prolly get like 8 hp+, but with the Y added, id prolly get like 12hp outta the CAI right?
and with JUST a Y, id get like 12-15 hp+ alone, but with the CAI/any intake added, would i see the 15-18 hp increase?
now how would that all also change with the addition of a catback? how much will a catback conplement the other gains?

sorry to ask alot, just bored and curious since im getting my Y pipe installed this week

Yes they compliment each other. How much in hp #'s, your guesses seem a little high but your general theory is correct.
I have an intake and Y-pipe and the back-pressure is not a problem. The thing about maximas is that the stock cat back is really not that restrictive. The only bad part about them is the crush section right after the cat. Think of it this way, the fastest 4th gen has a stock cat-back.

More air in + more air out = more hp. That is all.

15-18HP at the wheels is a pretty conservative and realistic for intake+y. My guess is that it is closer to 25HP, since the y pipe has given gains of nearly 20HP alone, and 5HP for the intake is not unrealistic.

Yeah but he said 12hp from the intake (in conjunction with the ypipe) which is really optimistic, he didn't say 5.

You are looking at 5hp from the wheels from the intake and 15 from the ypipe. MOST cars with intake and Y dyno between 175 and 180hp, up from about 158-163 stock.
