How many to miles of usage before doing a radiator flush?

 

don't quote me but i think every 30k...or read your manuel to see what it say..

 

30K miles sounds good but depends on your climate region, for example here in TX the weather is very extremist, Cold as the North Pole in Winter and Hot as hell in the summer, so here we need to change our anti-freeze or coolant every year to maintain the protective properties of the coolant ! $6.00 dlls a year doesn't hurt your car and either your pocket ! You can DIY !

 

i know my manual says 30k. i'm just curious at what mileage people are flushing their radiator.

 

Just do it once a year. Make it a ritual.

my apt does not have hose access, is it worth going to a shop for a flush and fill, or should i wait till i go to my parents house?

 

radiator flush costs $60. is it a good price?

 

Over the years on all my cars, I have changed the coolant/flush the radiator every 30,000 miles along with changing the thermastat.

 

i just changed my coolant fliud..


took about an hour and cost like 15 dolla
