Help!!!! Max Broken!!!!

I posted this thread in the General Forum and it was suggested that I try hear as well.

This is the deal, I go and park my car for a second, then I get right back in and try and start the max. I go and turn the key and when the key gets to the ACC position I lose all power. I mean everything, no lights at all, no dome headlights, no radio, NOTHING. So, I think it is the battery or a fuse. I replaced the battery because it was the original battery.
I then checked:

1 Every fuse and relay (in the car and under the hood)

2 The battery leads

3 The starter solenoid

4 The ignition switch

When checking relays and switches I used a volt meter to test for resistance and continuity. Everything checked out OK. I have no clue what is wrong. Does anyone have any guesses? Oh by the way it was raining and my car was sitting in water when this happened. I am pretty sure it is a short.

I just called Tom Wood Nissan in Indianapolis and talked with a tech. He stated that if it was the immobilizer system the car would start and die repeatedly. I don't have any power what so ever. For those of you that had the immobilizer problem, did you lose all power (radio, lights, etc.) or were you just unable to start the car?
