Short Shifter Broke!

my short shifter broke last nite as I was shift gears. now i can't drive the car at all. i have to have it towed to the shop and have my stock one put in. it broke at the bottom so i can't even half way shift with my fingers... has this happended to anyone before?

Let me guess, it was a pacesetter.

It's not the first time this has happened. Another person did a web page on his experiences with 3 different sts's. All because his pacesetter snapped just like yours.

His sig says Stillen. You sure you're not thinking of the Courtesy sts... because I have never heard of anyone's Pacesetter breaking. Personally, I think Pacesetter is fine quality and a bargain at the price.
