MY 98 Maxima just turned 30Kish....what are some of the things that i would need to do.... other then getting an oil change.. Should I change my Plugs? Water? ..kinda lost ....

Im just about to go over 30, and I did my maintenence You didn't say whether you have an auto or a 5spd, but I changed my transmission fluid with Redline MT-90 and I really noticed a difference. I also changed my oil and oil filter, checked my fluid levels (it turned out I had no washer fluid), and checked my tire pressure. I recently painted my brake calipers, and I checked my brake pads and they had a ton of life left on them so I'm not worried about them. I kept looking for stuff to do at 30k, but really there isn't much you need to do unless something needs replacing.

The 30K maintenance calls for replacing the engine oil, oil filter, and air filter. Aside from that service, it is "inspect this, inspect that". Your Owner's Manual spells it out.

Plugs and coolant are changed at 60K.

What, only 30K, dam weekend drivers, just kidding, man I must really drive alot, I expect to hit 90K by the end of this month on my 98 GXE.

 

yep, there isn't much to do. All I did was
change the oil, oil filter, and air filter.
And I just checked things like the brakes,
hoses, and belts, etc. Everything was in
good shape.
