Wow...they look even 'r than the other altezzas....

 

Try packing grease around the plastic connector that u plug into the housing. condensation was building up because there was a gap there...It worked for me

 

Like The Altezzas, they look added on. Red/Clears are the way to go. Red/clears look like they could of been on the Max when it rolled off the showroom floor.

how come I like my red/clears the best? OH, I know, because they look nice. Anything else looks out of place and ricey.

The one on the right looks like a giant LEGO. Put them together with some other vehicles lights and you can make Rice-a-tron, the rice spreading robot.

we haven't even seen these particular ones on a car yet so why jump to conclusions and bash them?

it's funny how much people make fun of things without actually seeing them. i remember when sexima and others first did the skyline mod to their's and how many people changed their opinions about them. maybe they will look like dog poop once on the car, maybe they'll look great. but until we actually see them, why continue ragging? seems pointless to me.

I totally agree with you on everything you've said, and as ive said earlier us 95-96 guys that cant get ahold of some red/clears without trading an arm/leg, should be happy. Even if they are altezzas, they can be molded and painted to the body color. Ya they stick out a bit, but like Jepth20 said, WAIT TILL THEY ARE ON A MAX TILL YOU START BASHING THEM. its incredible how we complain about our Maxima's being called Accords or "what is that a camry" see that makes me mad yet theres still people who die trying to make the max look like a F***ing HONDA!!!! GRRRRR

i dont think these can be called altezzas anymore. i hate that freaking word. just because it models the damn toyota's tail lights. but now, with ones that look like this, theres got to be some new name someone can think of for them. not that i like or dislike them. im kind of impartial

 

Hey Guys. I seen alot of your comments and see what ppl are saying so far. I agree with others, wait till they are on the max first before you bash them. I pretty much put this up for the Altezza guys in a way, and the ppl that wanna do that skyline look. this is saving time of painted the gen1 chrome ones and making them body colored. These outter pieces come primered already so you can have them painted to your car. And I personally think they would look good that way, and at least they wouldnt be ghetto rigged knowing they really are supposed to be painted.

The Reason why it has the "Fast and the Furious" on the page is because the TYC company is making these tail lights on most of the cars for the F&F part 2. I read it in a magazine while TYC does the tail lights and headlights on all of the cars, APC is doing all the decals for the cars. Thats why the F&F is on the page. TYC is a new company, trying new things. There products are looking good now and of very high quality. Its time to do SOMETHING diffrent right? Why not. Red clears are nice, but look factory in a way. Thats IMO.

I emailed the guy up at TYC and told him about the 95-96 Being a bit diffrent compared to the 97-99 tail lights. And here is what he had to say about the whole email and it answeres the questions ppl are having.

"Thanks for the info. The design we have made both lamps similar, but
they have different trunk lamps. We have that worked out. Due to our
brochure with limited space, we stated the 95-99 to inform all people
that we have these models. The lamps will be available in late June.

So the 95-96 and 97-99 is cleared up. Availibe Late June.
