Air Bag Light
I left my lights on for a few hours , new battery, started okay. I drove for a few hour. Thought that would recharge battery okay. Next morning my battery seems drained with the AIR BAG light steady blinking ? Short or recharge . B4 I go have someone charge me 500-1000 dollars to find a short I figured I'd research here. Will gat the ECU code later . ANY suggestion even after a few jumps same problem.
Thanks

Have your charging system check to make sure it's working correctly.
The SRS system probably just tripped because of the low battery. Search this forum for "Air Bag Reset" the process is very simple.

For the air bag light I actually just dealt with this myself.
When your car is off, open the driver door and put the key in the ignition. Find the button that the driver door pushes when you close it to turn of the lights. Turn the key to the ON position without starting the car. Within 10 seconds of doing this push the door button 7 times and hold it down on the seventh time. Wait and you will notice the light doing some things. Then start the car. You may have to repeat this process, sometimes there's sortof an inbetween phase. This will reset the Air bag computer. If the light comes back on again then there may be a real problem with it and you should have it checked. But from the sounds of what happened I think it just got tripped somehow.
I know it sounds like some video game code or something. But it works.
