are you talking about when your shifting from 1st to 2nd you have like a feel off your tranny grinding? And when your tranny heats up a bit it suddenly stops? if so im experiencing the same problem, any help?

I've got that too

1st to 2nd when its not fully warmed up is sluggish. There seems to be "clicking" or things hitting eachother. Not the smoothest shift in the world. As it warms up it smooths out like butter.

Could it be crud in the tranny fluid? I just got the car and don't know when it was last drained and filled. Should I drain it and fill it again with some Redline MT-90? Any chance that doing this would be a bad thing?
