VLSD Swap+ACT clutch=Dayyyum!

got this done last wednesday. I now have 250 miles on the clutch and am beginning to play with it a little. I know that neither a transmission nor a clutch makes more power, but it sure helps make use of the power you have. Cannot be happier.

yeah 5sp. thus the clutch. Funny thing is it was positively I.D.'d as a VLSD and I promise you it will burn down both tires, yet they used my original axles. Not too worried though cause I saw were another user did this same thing.

well first you get a price for the trans swap. then you add "I also have a clutch I need installed while you have the tranny off." and they will hook you up.

Where did you get the VLSD? Used? How much? Mileage?

My tranny bearings are shot and instead of having it rebuilt, I'm considering a VLSD or remanufactured tranny. Having trouble finding one though. . .

Any help appreciated. Glad you are enjoying the new parts!

u gotta take out the whole tranny to change the clutch anyway, so might as well swap the tranny at the process. installing a clutch i would say should run around 300-350 and he got flywheel done at the process. Got apretty good price for everything...that didnt include the price of the clutch did it?
