Help! ECU codes!

Okay, now I went to the "check ECU" codes thing in the forum, but I got these codes from my mechanic, don't know the 'short pulse/long pulse thing'. I can't seem to access the search page either, don't know why. Anyways, these are the codes.

P0440
P1448

Just wondering if anyone had these codes before or can tell me what the problem is? My mechanic said I would have to bring my car in for a day or two so he can hook it up to the computer to run tests to see what it is. Thanks.

Thanks Jamsan. Have you ever experienced this problem? Cause my mechanic said he would need 1 to 2 days worth of testing to find out exactly what the problem is. Wondering if anyone had this problem before and could shorten my waiting time to fix it.

Oh thank God. I thought I was the only one who couldn't search, thought maybe they restricted me or something. But that does present a problem, gonna be a lot more questions and threads started. Lots of Maxima.org seems to be down lately, every day at school when I try to access United States Forum, or Parts for Sale Forum, they are always down. Oh well, can't wait for the bigger and better servers.
