0103 Engine coolant temp sensor
0103 Engine coolant temp sensor
Has anyone else had this problem before? My max will have hard starts in the morning and shut down at times. I called nissan for a price on the "engine coolant temp sensor" and had a couple of people tell me that there's more than one. If anyone else has had the same problem let me know which one you changed. I guess it's the one by the head close to the thermostat. Any help would be appreciated.

i reset 0103 2 times. It hasent comeback yet.Haynes has a good description of it.I think if you're in a very cold region wait till the weather gets better and you should be OK.
it costs $26 i think for a new sensor....may be you could replace it.you will need some coolant though as you'll lose some

I changed it today!!! I also reset the engine light and it hasn't come back. I've tried to reset it before and it came back within one trip to the store(before I put the new sensor in)... anyway it's working good now and I'm glad everything's working okay. Thanks for your help guys
