heat it up. rub it off with your fingers
thats it

do it right and this will be the easiest thing you ever do on your car

heat, floss, patience, and fingers.

For the residue on the trunk, i found fingernails to be most handy in taking that stuff off.. then you'll still have visible imprints of it on the paint.. use goo gone or a similar remover to get it off.. after that you may still see some traces of the hamburger shape on the paint.. but don't worry.. after a few car washes and waxing and buffing, it will look like there was never anything there

go easy with the goo gone..itll be kind of bad for the paint if you just slap it on and rub it all in and leave it.

if you

use a heat gun to warm up the glue then fishin line to shave then heat gun and (TIP here ) use gloves so you dont burn your finger tips from the hot glue then goof off or goo gone then clay bar or paint cleaner then wax then enjoy I have done over 10 turnks this way with no scraching and no having to wait

Body shops use what looks like a giant pencil eraser on a drill that takes it off. Any body shop supply store will have it.

I think you're supposed to use a clay bar (can be found at the Auto parts shop in the wax/cleaner section).

Also Isopropyl Alcohol get rid of adhesive pretty well. Not sure what it will do to the paint though.
