I have sprint springs and the ride is alright. It'll drop your car 2" all the way around (I don't know if that's too much for you). How much clearance do you have with your kit right now? I'm thinking of getting a skyline kit myself. Did it bolt right on or did you have to mod anything?
If you want to check out bags for the maxima you should look at southwestautoworks.com - I hear they have a good set up and it's a little over a grand.

TheBigSadler for air ride information.
Group Deals section for KYB AGX struts/springs.
Any number of places for H&R, Eibach, B&G springs et al. Sprint may take you down a little too low.

You'll never get an answer to what is best, not too harsh, great handling and a mean drop so don't ask. A popular setup is H&R w/ KYB AGX. Sadler and some others have more unique setups and you always have the option of coilovers or something custom getting done up.

I would recommend the Eibach springs for the Skyline kit. They lower the car about 1.3 inches, and give the car a nice ride. Ill be getting the eibachs in about a month here with KYB AGX's.

Hey skymax you have the blue Maxima on Cardomain and OnlineShowOff right? Nice to see you on the forums.

Here are your options:

1. Air ride. Costs $1500-$2500 depending upon the adjustability you want. This is like hydraulics only slower and requires a large tank in your trunk. You will have completely adjustable ride height through the flip of a switch.

2. A spring/strut setup. Costs $500-700. Do you mind a hard ride? If no, they get Eibach springs. If yes, then get H&R. For struts, go for KYB AGX or Tockico Illumina. Both of these springs will lower you about 1.4".

If you click on my homepage and go to page 4, I have the type-s front bumper and I'm on sprints/agx right now. So far I haven't scraped the front bumper on anything yet.
