does this really work?

i want to get the maroon pin stripes off my car. is it true all it takes is a hair dryer? that easy?

From what I've heard, yes. It's worth a try. It's not like you'll mess up your paint by applying some heat to it.

I just did it yesterday. Easier than I thought. Don't heat too much because then as you peel it will be more apt to rip and youll have to start again! Just heat up the beginning and then lightly heat up the rest and pull while supporting it with your fingers. Took me about 40 minutes total.

Use some rubbing alcohol to remove adhesive after you're done, use a clay bar to smooth off the last flecks, and re-wax.

I just used my fingernail to take of the stripes. It was close to 100 degrees out when I did it, so I think thats why I didnt have to use any heat source. I also used goo gone to get rid of the adhesive.

Yeah I was just gonna say, if the dryer thing worked that means that sometimes the sun would get it hot enough by itself. Looks like it's true
