full synthetic or blend

Hey all,

I have 92k on my 95 Max, and I want to switch over to synthetic but I've been told not to on a car with that mileage and that has never had synthetic before. Is it ok for me to switch over and should I go full or the blend.

John

As long as your engine is in good condition and has been well maintained, there shouldn't be any issues with a swicth, regardless of mileage.

If you don't use a full syn, use a good conventional instead (Castrol GTX is my favorite). The blends just don't offer enough performance for the money.
