pulsating gas pedal?

I'm not if it's just in my head, but when I'm driving, I would feel a slight pulsating feeling from the gas pedal. Also, is there suppose to be some grease on the spring like part of the gas pedal, not the gas pedal itself, but the lower portion of it. I would also get this feeling like the gas pedal need to be reoiled. Maybe need more grease? Ideas?

is your car a 5spd? any fluids on pedals could be the clutch master cylinder leaking. but thats like a worst case scenerio.

No, it's an auto. There isn't any fluids on the pedals. I'm just saying is there suppose to be grease there to lubricate the pedal because it seem to be pretty dry. Maybe it's just in my head...or should I say foot.

Funny you mentioned that because I did use WD-40 on it. I just sprayed it a few days ago. Last time I had the same problem, I sprayed it and it went away. However, this time I feel like the problem is still there.

it could be that you miss the spot that is dry. just go back there and spray again. with extera care. use a flash light or something. WD40 usally works the best.

Other thing you could use is the silicon spay from teh dealership or auto part store.
